TL-2000 Sting is the latest generation from the TL-ULTRALIGHT Company. The design team has extensive experience of ultralight and Group A aircraft design and development, and the production organisation has built over 500 aircraft including 194 Stings (as of December 06).

The aircraft makes extensive use of carbon-fibre material for stiffness and light weight. The UK Approval will correspond to non-aerobatic category limits per CS-VLA. The elegant and refined, aerodynamically-optimised, shape offers an exceptional combination of comfort, visibility, practicality and performance, unmatched by any other aircraft in this class.

The speed range extends from full-flap stall at 35 knots to an 8000' cruise of 147 knots. The UK variant includes the Woodcomp three blade, electrically-operated, variable-pitch propeller (SR3000).
